Your Best Life

The poster says:  Your best life comes when you commit to being your best self.  —-Cheryl Richardson

***********************

Someone asked me the other day if I thought that I was living my best life.  I thought about the question for a moment, and I answered, “Yes!  I am living my best life at this time.”

The person then asked what I meant by “this time”.  I replied that early on in my adult life, I made choices that made my life difficult, and therefore my life was not the best life for me at that time.  I had to complete some karma (and I will leave it at that).

The next question was - what makes this time so good to be considered your best?  That was an easy one.  Everything that I need and everything that I want to do are there for me to move forward.  I really want for nothing.  Not many people can say that.  I have wonderful sisters and a brother, and wonderful friends, and the best husband.  I could go on, but you get the idea.  I get to do what feels right.

The individual started pressing with more questions.  I said, “I am done with this.”

I walked away.  I get to make the choices and to do what is right for me.  I do not have to put up with someone else’s agenda. Neither do you.

Many blessings,

Judy

More on Effort

This poster says: On this path no effort is wasted.

**********************************

I saw this sign, and it made me smile!  It confirms what I believe – that is – that each of us walks a path that is so unique that it carries great importance for the rest of the Universe.  This means that one should never let the influence of another person’s agenda change what a person must do.

If we were all gifted with foresight, perhaps we could say to another person, “You should do this or that!”

However, most people are quick to offer the “shoulds”, especially when it suits that person’s agenda to get something done.  More and more, I am noticing that so many people who seem to have their life in shambles, want to tell me what I am doing wrong – not right – but wrong, in my life.

I find their concern quite funny!  Their comments come unsolicited, and are quite different areas of concern than what I generally have.  I wonder why they are even thinking about some of the stuff that I get feedback on.

If you have friends and family that are giving you too much advice, try laughing over it.

Blessings,

Judy

If Love Is Not Provided

The poster says:  You’ve got to learn to leave the table when love’s no longer being served.  —-Nina Simone

***************************

We wonder why someone or some group of people do not love us.  We blame ourselves.  We must have failed them in some way.  It must be our fault!

Be assured.  Each of us is loveable.  Each of us is love.  When people deny you love, whether it is your parents, your siblings, old friends or new friends, you need to recognize that the fault is theirs, not yours.  When someone says, ‘if you really loved me, you would do xxxxx.”, you know that they have an agenda that is to manipulate you.  Manipulation or coercion is not love.  It is forcing you to do something that is against your will.  That is not love.

Love is acceptance without conditions.  That is why so many people are turning to pets because pets love unconditionally.

Blessings,

Judy

Bucking Bronco’s Message

 image

July and August are especially about rodeos and exhibitions across Alberta.  One of the more popular rodeo events is the bare back and saddle bronc riding.  I believe that this influence is why a spirit wild horse wandered into my meditation with thoughts to share.

**********************

Today is about freedom.  A bucking horse comes galloping and bucking across my meadow in my meditation.  Bronco has some thoughts to share.

  • Freedom is about NOT being restrained.
  • Throw off anything that does not suit you.
  • If you want to go some place new, full steam ahead at a gallop.
  • Exercise is not just about walking – it is about running and jumping.
  • When your head is down, it is hard to put a rope around it.
  • There is always someone who wants to saddle you with something.
  • Don’t let anyone touch your ears!
  • If you let them, people will run you in circles.
  • When someone holds out a carrot, they definitely have a hidden agenda.

Blessings,
Judy
