In the end, we will conserve only what we love, we will love only what we understand, and we will understand only what we are taught." – Baba Dioum
Welcome! Come here to explore different tools that you can use to shift your emotions, shift trauma, alleviate pain, and handle the challenges that pop up regularly.

The poster says: Just breathe…….
Mindfulness of breathing is a practice of learning to harmonize your attention with what is, in this moment. Short, long, deep, shallow are all fine breaths. Trust your body; it knows what is needed. - Christina Feldman, "Meditation Q&A" |
Last fall, ten of our friends came for a combined equinox and full moon celebration. The theme was Humor and Humility. The discussion ranged from community gatherings, sporting events, to discussions about current events and the energies that we are experiencing. Throughout the evening, the common thread was breath. Sometimes, to keep going, one just needs to breathe.
Blessings,
Judy
It is true that when we can no longer breathe, we are not supporting our physical body, and we make the transition to the next life. Transition becomes a matter of “Not Breath”.
Let today be the day that you begin to breath fully. Let the molecules of oxygen move through your body to allow light into the cells. Let this be the time of welcoming breath.
Blessings,
Judy
I have great inner strength.
I am living my most blissful life.
I enjoy immersing myself in nature.
I am feeling fresh and rejuvenated.
I am in a state of profound contentment.
I spend my time doing what I love.
Joy is flowing into my life.
I invite a greater sense of balance into my life.

I sometimes get behind in reading my email. I get daily updates from the site - Daily Motivation - and I love the positive words that the site shares with us.
The affirmations above were sent out on February 1, 2025 but I did not read them until today. My bad. I am sharing them with you so that you can pick the affirmations that speak to you and so that you can add them to your life, if you want.
Each day, I look to find an affirmation that speaks to me and that helps me make sense of something going on in my life in a positive way.
Enjoy the journey!
Blessings,
Judy
This poster says, “I’m so tired of people needing a reason for doing everything in their lives. Do it because you want to. Because it’s fun. Because it makes you happy.

Great Spirit says that all actions should be done with grace and ease. Especially if it is fun! Life is to be in balance. If we are too serious all the time, then we skew to anxiety. We balance seriousness by having moments of unstructured fun.
Do something fun today!
Blessings,
Judy
The poster reads:
Surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones that don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.

Sometimes life just seems like chapters. Some good, some bad, but all come together to create the story of our lives. – Unknown
Today, find something to laugh at.
Today, find time to share a laugh.
Then, find someone to enjoy a laugh with.
Find a way to flow with life.
It is good for your heart.
Blessings,
Judy
Empathy naturally leads to compassionate action. But simple inattention kills empathy, let alone compassion. So the first step in compassion is to notice the other's need. It all begins with the simple act of attention. | Daniel Goleman, “I Feel Your Brain” |
When someone sees something wrong or someone who appears hurt, the common reaction is to ignore the situation or the person because people do not want to get involved. This is the inattention that Daniel Goleman talks about.
Our ancestors always reached out a helping hand to those around them. It was the right thing to do. It was the best way to survive. That has changed to an attitude of self interest or selfishness.
We are not surviving.
Many blessings to you this day,
Judy
