Spirit Asks, "Kindness Or Not?"

This is a time for being kind!  There are many changes happening on the Earth.  Great floods are reclaiming the lands that have once been stolen from the oceans.  People are isolated by governments.  Life is not political unless someone makes it so.  Life is about developing a system of cooperation that provides the best solution for the band, tribe, pack, or flock.  This means that the greatest good is the best solution; the agenda of the individual politicians only serves self and not the community.

Now is the time of community.  In community we show kindness to others.  We offer food, with kindness.  We heal others and instead of allowing ego to rise in us, we show humility.  We acknowledge that there are huge changes taking place that will forever change the landscape of the Earth and the pedigree of humans.  We see the abundance and know that it is meant for everyone, not just those with power or who can create fear in others.  We are changing.  And, we are grateful!

Take a Nap and Let God Do the Rest!

One of my friends sent this to me, and it made me think of all the times that I have heard, “Quit trying so hard!  You are getting in the Creator’s way.”  

This bear obviously has heard this before and knew when to get out of the way.

This bridge is on the Old Donner Pass Highway .

It has a spectacular view of Donner Lake and  Donner Pass on Route 40.  A bear was walking across Rainbow Bridge ( Old Hwy 40 at  Donner Summit , Truckee ) on Saturday when two cars, also  crossing the bridge, scared the bear into jumping over the  edge of the bridge. Somehow the bear caught the ledge  and was able to pull itself to safety. Authorities decided  that nothing could be done to help Saturday night so they  returned Sunday morning to find the bear sound asleep on  the ledge.  After securing a net under the bridge the bear was tranquilized,  fell into the net, lowered, then woke up and walked out of the net. There is a moral to this story; this old bear made  a wrong move and found he was hanging by his nails. Somehow  he was able to pull himself up onto the ledge where he saw he  was in a very bad, impossible situation and what did he do?  Yep, he took a nap and sure enough, God took care of the  situation while he was asleep.  The moral of the story is that when confronted with a bad  situation, sometimes the best solution is to take a nap and  let God take care of the rest.

Does Karma Take Too Long?

 

I saw this poster, and thought,

“That is the problem we have today, everyone would rather fight than try to work things out.  I think that it is a product of impatience, and ego, and training.  We have learned through history that the one with the bigger stick seems to win.  So, that is what we focus on – winning.  Winning is really a form of losing when the solution only solves the problem for one person or group.  If you win, you have failed, as a leader, because not everyone is happy.  While I agree that there are some folks that you will probably never satisfy, the majority are happy and look for solutions to what keeps them from doing their job, or from living their life in peace and with ease.”

Perhaps I am wrong in my thoughts. Perhaps this poster has it right.  Perhaps we should defend ourselves, and do what is in our power to prevail over others with our own thoughts and values.
