Myth and Religion

I was contemplating the mystery of faith in my meditation, and did not reach any conclusions.  Then, I saw this quote, and it was like a telescope coming into focus for me.  The reason that we are going through such interesting times are that we are in the process of creating a new myth – Christianity At Work; Judaism at work; Muslim at work, etc. – and that while many people are done with all of these, and are ready to move on, enough people are still trying to make them real that the myth is still  being created.  The Greeks must have felt like this when the people were still hanging on to the Oracle of Delphi.

This is a time of coming to balance.  A time of righting wrongs.  It is a time when Nature asks us to believe in her and to become the caretakers of Earth.

Wonderful Things Happen

I was walking with a friend on Friday and we talked about how things happen in life.  I firmly believe that all things happen as they should - in the right time and season.  Therefore, I do not get stuck on a bad situation because it always leads to something wonderful.  And very positive.  It is when you get stuck that things go badly.

Accepting each situation that happens means going in the flow.  Try it.  When we move with the Universe in harmony then abundance and love and life happen.

Affirmation of the week

I focus on what I can control. I am comfortable with not knowing. I keep an open mind about the future. I have the courage to leap into the unknown. I believe in affirmations and the effect of positive (or negative) affirmations on each of us.  The affirmation above is from my email from Daily Motivation - dailymotivation.site - and gives me a list of affirmations.   Sometimes the affirmations match things that I am working on.  Other times, the affirmations provide me with new plans and goals.  So, yes, they are motivational.   Why do we need affirmations?   Sometimes, life, family, friends, or the general public, seem to tear us down instead of building us up.  Affirmations can counter act the negative.
