Lady Bug Seasons

 

It is truly Fall.  Lady Bug is finding places to burrow for the Winter.  I am sure that in the northern hemisphere, you have noticed Lady Bug coming into your house, looking for a safe place to winter.  Even with screens and deterrents in place around the house, she seems to find a way in.  If you have house plants, she will head to them for a quiet winter.  When the last Lady Bug disappears, then I know the first snow is coming soon.  

Summer arrives when Lady Bug arrives… that’s how I measure summer.  The weather warms up, in the mid 60 degrees, and Lady Bug appears on new leaves.  With her arrival, Lady Bug reminds us:

• Fresh starts are not a favor; they are a birth right.  Everyone can start over as many times as they want.
• This is a good time to get grounded and to remember what is important in life… family ties, home, neighborhood, and community.  They will always support you when your work place will not.
• Every situation is a chance to spread your wings and try something new.  You might fall down.  However, know that you can always get back up!  It is empowering to get back up.

Lady Bug

As the days get warmer, once again, we notice Lady Bugs coming out of no where, to bless our house.  They move to the windows where I pick them up and drop them on my plants.   They keep the leaves clean and shiny for me.  What I am coming to understand is that the Lady Bug is about being grounded and protection.  Her message always seems to be about:

• having no fear in starting over
• trusting that what ever quest you are on will receive assistance
• knowing that you will always end up with abundance
