A Dream Called “Round Up The Dragons”

I love dragons and I have often seen them in dreams and visions.  Recently, however, I had a strange dream about dragons that made me sad. I would like to share it with you, and get your input into the imagery.

The dream began with me walking out of a building because I could hear a noise.  I walked out on the road, and then I could see a huge truck, carrying four large dragons, like the one above, chained in the truck.  The dragons were crying.  They had been captured by subterfuge; the dragons coming to share information, and the men capturing them so they would not.  I felt sick.  I walked away, wondering what I could do for them.  I went to the kitchen, to get some tea.  

As I leaned over to get the tea kettle, four small dragons, about the size of cats with wings, ran out from under a table. They had gotten loose.  The colours were red, blue, gold, and silver.  They came running at my legs and I thought they might bite me.  However, they simply bumped them and then began running around, and playing.  When they came back at me, my dog Sage, (who has been gone for quite some time), appeared at my side, and woofed them away, and then grinned up at me, and licked my hand.  I then I woke up.

The dream is staying with me, so I feel there is something important in it that perhaps I am missing.

Lessons From The Dragon

The legends of Dragons are about how fearsome they are, how they hunt humans and other animals, and how they must be destroyed.  Over and over, Dragon has been showing up for me in the last several days and nights.  She comes in as a protector, as a guide, and as a teacher.  Dragons, in some cases, are immortal.  In their disgust with the human’s predatorial and aggressive behaviour to dragons and especially to other humans, Dragons shifted to other dimensions or to very hidden caravans below the Earth’s surface.

Now, Dragon and her kind are returning to this plane.  It is time, she indicates, for dragons to re-join humans as humans become more loving and kind.  She says that we have lessons to learn.

• Treasure does not feed your soul.
• What you eat may not appeal or even be acceptable to others.  This is their lesson, not yours.
• We each look the way we look on the surface.  One needs to get to know the being before making judgements about who they are inside.
• All beings have the physics within them to deconstruct and to reconstruct themselves (teleportation).  Most will need help with the mechanics of doing this.
• Telepathy has always been on the planet Earth.  However, due to the toxins in processed foods and in drugs, it has been bred out of most humans.  Only those aboriginals living in isolation are able to comfortably use that part of their brain.
• Dragons are known for their healing skills.  They wish to share this with all of you.

I was surprised at the Dragon’s list of lessons.  And, I am curious to see how Dragon will work with me and with the rest of humanity.

The Year Of The Dragon Begins February 10 2024

In Chinese history, a calendar was created that differs from the calendar of the Western World.  Of course we call it “The Chinese Calendar”.  Each of the twelve animal cycles of the calendar relates to different animals and is associated with different year.  Dragon years include 2024, 2012, 2000, 1988, 1976, 1964, and 1952. 

The Year of The Dragon has the power to focus change on the world.  This power seeks out people that have lost or given away their power as well as people that have a strong conscience and love for the Earth and humanity.  These are the people that will use dragon power to shift and stamp out the corruption and selfishness that we are seeing on the planet today. 

There are many references that you can search for and read about the power of the dragon.  

Feel inside your body to see if dragon power is “powering” you up.

Dragon is a Spirit Animal

As I was wrapping Christmas presents, I watched/listened to Dragonheart, one of my all time happy movies.  So, I thought that I would talk about dragons.

What does Dragon mean to any of us?  Wikipedia has a wonderful list of general characteristics of a dragon which it draws from many cultures.  It says:

"There are many kinds of dragons in the different cultures. In general:

• A dragon is usually big and impressive 
• A dragon has: none to four legs, claws, scales and possibly spikes. Optional wings 
• A dragon perhaps looks like a snake with wings, or like lizards 
• A dragon has a tail and a long neck. 
• A dragon has a wide mouth with big and dangerous teeth 
• Sometimes they have horns and hair. 
• A dragon can fly 
• A dragon can perhaps breathe fire (or other dangerous substances). 
• A dragon has special powers. 
• A dragon could have flight sacs full of hydrogen and methane, that not only help it to fly, but also to breathe fire.  - from simple.wikipedia.org/dragon "

The article clearly states that the dragon is mythical, and yet, here are some well known characteristics, and a picture to prove the traits.  We humans have a great love affair with Dragon.

When protégées take the rites of the Munay-Ki, the Third Rite, the Harmony Rite, provides the protégée with a "serpent" in the base chakra.  The archetype of serpent may be either a dragon or a lizard or snake.  Many protégées tell of receiving a black or red or blue or multi-coloured dragon as their first archetype.

What message does Dragon bring?  Dragon is about  being in integrity, about being a healer, about walking softly on this earth.  Each of these aspects of Dragon speak to us about being able to walk and talk our truth, and healing those around us.  The "walk softly" means that we need to stop leaving our footprints of destruction of nature on this Earth.  

Ancestors tell us that Dragon was one of the original earthly guardians of all things.  When Man advanced, Dragon believed that it could retire to another realm because Man would care for the world.  Dragon had taught its knowledge to Shaman, Wise Men and Wise Women.

If Dragon appears, she is telling you to remember that YOU must care for the Earth and help restore it to health.
