Foxy Times - Spirit Animal

I have been noticing a lot of different news stories about foxes - in Toronto, London, Japan, and really, all over the northern hemisphere.  

The question becomes “Why is Fox so in our faces all of a sudden?”

Good question!  Different sages have written about Fox.  They write that Fox is about mystery – because of its colouring, and that is true.  They write, too, that Fox is about being aware of family because Fox is a good parent, and a good pack member.  That is true.  Others have written that Fox is about being aware of one’s surroundings and the interconnectedness of all things.  I see this as true because of the way Fox adapts to city environments.

I think that Fox is the same as she/he ever was.  The difference, I believe is that we are more aware of Fox because we are more attuned to life around us.  Before this attuning, we were simply unaware of much of the natural life around us.

I also see Fox as a symbol for us in these changing times.  The symbol stands for adaptation, finding new food supplies (Fox has only survived because it has strong adaption skills that let it move through different environments, and it always goes where the food is), and for living outside the boundaries of what people think and expect.  Fox has long escaped man and his hunting dogs by doing the unexpected.

Fox is showing that it is there to support humans as they go through the changes of this next year.  Call on Fox to guide you.  It will show you how to “out-fox” the situation!

Faulty Logic

Moving right along onto things that I don’t understand, I come to the whole “faulty logic” thing.  Why has this got me thinking?  Well, I have a list!  Here are two things on it:

-people who think that having a driver’s license makes them a good driver

-buying “healthy” yogurt which has 28 g of sugar in it, and no fat, and almost no protein 

As you might guess, I was just at the market to get some groceries, and these things popped up for me.    I asked my Angels why these things bugged me.  The response was that faulty logic is a disruptive energy that will assault the light. They said I was bugged because I wanted to correct the logic, and knew that I could not interfere.  The Angels talked about the need to let go of things in my mind (not unlike the Buddhists who say to let go of attachment).

The Angels continued that mankind has many belief systems that are built on faulty logic, and that the belief systems keep humans locked in to a darker energy then they could be in if they simply went with the flow, and left behind all other people’s ideas, thoughts, and marketing. 

That explanation made sense to me.  I am letting go.  The process is slower than I expected.  There must be some very deep roots there.

Forge Ahead

As I asked for guidance for my blog today, I heard “Forge ahead!”.  And then I saw a series of visions around keeping one’s faith through the times ahead where chaos will be rampant, and where people will try to get you to do things against your nature.

The message was that we must “forge” ourselves through all the heat that we will be taking, into a person of steel will and mission.  We must be able to stand firm in our beliefs, in the knowledge that we are all connected in Oneness and that hurting one person to benefit another is actually hurting all of us.  We will be shaped by all of the fire that we will be under, however, if our Soul can hang on to the vision of what we can be, we will all be filled with a steely resolve that will let us continue to be in service to The Light.
