Turtle – one that we associate with wisdom, age, earth, water, and fire, had many thoughts to share with us.
Some of these thoughts were:
- Minimize your possessions. They weigh you down and you cannot carry them all with you. A home may be carried anywhere.
- Swim deeply into the depths of emotions and look them all in the eye. You must face them to let them drop away.
- Find ways to be on the Earth and with the water at least weekly. This is balance.
- Drink much water to get the oxygen into your blood.
- Withdraw when you need to. Your home is sacred and you can keep others out.
