Dec 31 2025 - Let Go

Have you ever read something that felt so true that it just zinged through your body?  It happened to me on December 28 2025 when I read the following words from Reid Tracy, CEO of Hay House Publishing.  He talks about how he learned to let things go.  This is my wish for each of you for 2026.  Let the things go that do not matter.

Here are the words that jolted me.

Every year around this time, I do something a little different. I don’t write resolutions, and I don’t make a vision board. Instead, I make a “Let Go” list.

And this year, thanks to Mel Robbins and her book
The Let Them Theory, I’ve been thinking a lot more deeply about what belongs on that list.
If you’re not familiar with Let Them, the idea is simple:
  • If someone wants to doubt you, let them.
  • If someone wants to leave, let them.
  • If someone doesn’t see your value, let them.
Mel says the key to peace is releasing the need to control what was never yours to carry in the first place. — excerpt from Reid Tracy, CEO of Hay House Publishing, link https://links.emails.hayhouse.com/servlet/MailView?ms=NzUzMjczODES1&r=MTgyMjM2NzMyOTY2S0&j=Mjk4MTM3MDcwMgS2&mt=1&rt=0

Remember that links may change over time.

Blessings,

  1. Sometimes you need to have someone validate your thoughts. This post did that. Thanks.

Thanks for reading this blog post. Sharing is good if it is kind and either has questions or tells about an experience. (Rudeness and profanity are excluded.)
